I am a senior foreign news reporter and correspondent with field experience across Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Southern Africa.
Most recently, I have been reporting from Lebanon, covering humanitarian work inside Beirut’s Shatila Refugee Camp and demining operations near the border with Israel.
For the past two years I have been working as Metro's first senior foreign news journalist and correspondent, building and leading its foreign desk during an era of global crisis and conflict.
I have led the coverage of major international developments including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the Israel-Palestine war.
My work blends on-the-ground reporting with OSINT verification and digital-first video journalism. I specialise in conflict, displacement and hybrid warfare, and have completed OSINT training with Bellingcat.
I speak Bulgarian fluently and I am forever improving my Russian. I am also HEFAT certified.
In a past life, I worked as a producer for documentaries and music videos in some of the top advertising and film agencies in Soho.
